| Apple Tossed Salad
 Ingredients1/3 cup red wine vinegar or cider vinegar, 1/4 cup olive or vegetable oil, 3 tbsp. water, 1 garlic clove (minced), 1 tsp. onion powder, 1/2 tsp. Italian seasoning, 1/4 tsp. dried parsley flakes, 1/4 tsp. salt, 1/4 tsp. pepper, 8 cups torn romaine, 1 medium red apple, (thinly sliced) 1 small sweet onion (sliced and separated into rings), 1/4 cup sunflower kernels or walnutsMethods/steps:In a jar with a tight-fitting lid, combine the first nine ingredients; shake well. In a salad bowl, combine the romaine, apple, onion and sunflower kernel. Add dressing and toss to coat. Let stand for 30 minutes.Mmmmm... This looked so good I had to post it. Im going to try this one either tonight or tomorrow. mmmmm....

| I tried this salad I used everything except for the sunflower kernels and Im allergic to walnuts, so I threw in a few almonds and some cranberries (I love cranberries) it is delicious. mmmm... | |
