Exchanging Amazon gift cards for cash

Hi all,

It's been a while since I posted but I really do need help on this topic. Although I've done a Google search and all, I haven't found a site that addresses this yet.

Recently, I received an Amazon e-gift card but it's useless to me so I really want to exchange it for Paypal cash. I know there are sites like e-Bay but I'm a little wary of using them because I heard that there are fees I'd need to pay to use them and then there's the chance that my item might not get sold at all and so it would be a waste of money. I know that there are other sites that will take gift cards for cash but I can't find one that will take an Amazon e-gift card. They offer an Amazon e-gift card for another gift card but that isn't what I want. I'd like to find a site that would be willing to take my Amazon e-gift card and pay me for close to its original value, if possible. I did ask Amazon whether I could get cash compensation for the gift card but they flat out refused.

Anyway, I'd really like some help on this. I'll ask around as well but any help would bbe great. ^^
