| DO NOT READ IF YOU ARE OF THE FAINT HEARTED. I WISHED I HAD NOT READ THIS BUT NOW THAT I HAVE I CAN'T STOP THINKING OF IT. THIS IS A REAL LIFE STORY OF THE PERSECUTION OF CHRISTIANS IN THE WORLD TODAY...YES, TODAY, THIS VERY YEAR...THIS VERY TIME. **Flipper, I know that your little girls read and play here with you but I wanted to let you know this is something you should read alone (If you choose to read it.) (Then you can decide for yourself if it's something you want them to read. I just don't want your kids to be sitting there reading with you and see this without notice what was coming.) - Spoiler:
North Korea
North Korea is one of the most brutally repressive governments in the history of mankind. Tonight more than 200,000 Christians will try to stay warm in horrific North Korean labor camps.
Christians there are considered little more than dogs as the following story from The Voice Of The Martyrs illustrates.....
----
The young brown-eyed girl looked up at her mother. What would she decide?
Earlier that morning, the young girl's mother, their pastor, and twenty-six others in her North Korean village of GokSan were bound and taken before a screaming crowd of Communists.
One of the guards ordered Pastor Kim and the other Christians, "Deny Christ, or you will die." The words chilled her. How could they ask her to deny Jesus? She knew in her heart he was real. They all quietly refused.
Then the Communist guard shouted directly at the adult Christians, "Deny Christ, or we will hang your children." The young girl looked up at her mother. She gripped her and knowing how much her mom loved her. her mother then leaned down. With confidence and peace she whispered, "Today, my love, I will see you in heaven."
All of the children were hanged.
The remaining believers were then brought out onto the pavement and forced to lie down in front of a huge steamroller. The Communists gave them one last chance. "Deny this Jesus or you will be crushed." The Christians had already given up their children; there was no turning back.
As the driver started the heavy piece of equipment, the singing from the villagers started softly. "More love, O Christ, to thee, more love to thee."
I was reading some information that came comes to my inbox weekly. There were several examples of christian persecution, but this was one that moved me emotionally. It's one of those things you read in stories or in the bible but can never believe will really happen. I just have nothing else to say right now. | |

| That is horrific. All because they would not renounce their faith. - Spoiler:
In foreign countries this is going on every single day. Some are starved to death, beat, made to sleep on metal beds in below 0 temps. They are not allowed to help each other if they do they are killled. Some were being moved from one concentration camp to another and was dropping bits of bread on the ground for others to find and when thy were caught they were shot and set unfire. So many have been hung from their wrists. Some are in horrible conditions in prison. This is going on right now as I type this.
There is a museum in Washington DC called the Holocaust Museum. If you have ever heard of the Purple Triangle they are referring to the triangle that they made witnesses sew onto thier clothing so that they would stand out from the rest and be easily identified. Jehovah's Witnesses are the most tortured religion in the world as a whole. And again all because they would not and will not renounce their faith in the one and only Almighty God Jehovah.
In the rooms of this museum you will see different things that belonged to the persecuted ones. One room is full of hair that was cut from the prioners heads and stuffed into mattresses and pilows before they were put into the gas chambers, from top to bottom, another shoes from top to bottom, and so on. It is so emotional I could not finish the tour. There are other things there in the museum that I just won't mention here. (to emotional for me and to graphic for you) But it lets us know the truth about what really happened in those camps and the number of lives that were taken, as far as could be recorded.
We just got word last week about the ones in Korea. As well as other countries that I won't mention here. But these persecutions only reaffirm in me that these are the last days. And no one who serves the one and only Almighty God Jehovah is exempt from persection.

| I had never heard of that museum. I doubt I would have been able to continue that tour either. I subscribe to Prophecy News watch. I get a weekly email that tells you about the events unfolding that are part of biblical prophecy. It's not based on a religion, just the facts as it pertains to the biblical facts. This is how I am hearing of so much of this happening now in the world. I have heard of things like this, but not as much as is happening now. If you would like to subscribe to the weekly email, it's great info. http://www.prophecynewswatch.com/ Yes, it just gets worse for those who do proclaim belief in Jesus Christ or God Almighty. | |

| Thanks for the info. I will check that out. But Im curious to know, if all of the people were killed who would not renounce their faith In Jesus, who documented the conversations that were recorded in the article? The Koreans would not have done so. | |

| Good point. I don't know if the Koreans would have or not. Perhaps they would have if they were trying to make a point. I will check in to that, good question. | |
