| Hi guys! As you know I'm a Mac user, but I about to move back into the world of PC with a Windows 7 platform. I too, did fine with XP, when I used it and Vista, although somewhat like a Mac, appears to have been a very difficult program for many to adapt to. it will be interesting to see if the games run... I will be checking this out throughly with a couple of "experts" (teachers and techs) and will let you all know anything I find out. Meanwhile, I'm also going to move to 10.6.2 Mac Snow Leopard, which I'm told has gotten the bug of the previous version 10.6 "guest?" handled. I just want it to run some games I haven't been able to load due to compatibility issues. Hanging in free fall for now :-)) | |

| Hi Trina,
I just finished reading but I'm not sure if there's anything useful I can suggest. I have a laptop as well although it's a Samsung. It works pretty well with games and such but then I'm using Vista. I did hear that there have been issues with running some games on Windows 7. I do wonder if it's a Windows issue or a hardware issue. If it's the former, maybe contacting Microsoft might help? There may be a customer service number or something. If it's the latter and your laptop can be exchanged, maybe that might be possible?
There are probably some other possibilities that I haven't thought of. I wish I could help out more. | |

| Ahhh, no see, I like the Face recognition feature. That would be nice to have on a computer that only I, was using. | |

| I do have to replace everything, and I have not even started except to get my yahoo toolbar which has my personal icons for myrazzles and stuff. I am trying to also get my user info in my sites, and the passwords recognized. It has face recognition. It takes a pic of my face and then noone else can log on. Cool. I don't need something like that, but it's cool. | |

| Trina, You are so right about XP. I did just fine with that program .But Im doing ok with the Vista. I dread when it is time to move on to Windows 7 though, I know that soon or later it has to happen, but I just hope the bugs are all otu for the most part before I have to switch over. I don't want to have to download a bunch of stuff again, or let's say not anytime soon. | |

| Amen countrybelle, and I'm a Mac user, but hey, it's good to be bi-computeral?! Anyway, with my limited knowledge of such PC things I would simply guess that it's a control setting - like the game option of full screen? I wish you luck - maybe someone can provide the answer. | |

| Aww, poor thing. Hopefully it's just the Windows 7 program that you have to get used to. I have never owned a laptop so Im not sure what all is happening with yours. So with that said and no help at all to you, I hope things start working properly soon. I know how you really like the laptop mobility. Please don't throw it out the window though, I don't think your warranty covers that. | |

| Yesterday my suddenlink signal that runs my internet, phone and cable went down. Then they would alternate working, two at a time. I had to reset the connection and everything came back up properly....but my laptop went down. My laptop is only connected because of the wireless router that connects to our modem, so that I can use the wifi. I still never got my internet back up..I guess my wireless device inside the laptop bit the dust. I spent hours on it yesterday and today. The only thing left was to go and get a new laptop. The guy kept telling me how much better Toshiba is than Hp..which is probably right since I'm always having trouble. Whether it is just me having a sad day or if it's this Windows 7 or if it's the way Toshiba is set up that I am not used to...I'm having a rough time with this. Everytime I breathe wrong the mouse starts moving. When I'm trying to scroll down my screen gets smaller. Does anyone know anything about this kind of laptop. If so, please tell me how to stop those things. I'm sure I'll have more for you later. lol I have only had it a couple hours and I'm ready to throw it out the window..the glass one. Its bad enough I had to go buy another one, now I'm just losing my mind. lol | |
